Does anyone here have this vehicle?
link link If so, would 15mm figures look puny next to it? Thanks, Dan |

Generally I feel the cars are a bit to big for 15mm. I only use Hot wheels if they are a large vehicle like a truck or APC. Hot wheels designs to fit in the little box so bigger vehicles are a smaller scale then the cars. |

:( I was hoping that, with the unconventional-looking lines of a futuristic car, that the usual car scales issue would be blurred a little. Dan |

It could work. I just use that as a general rule of thumb with Hot Wheels. |

Any other recommendations for a wheeled futuristic (2030-ish) cop car for 15mm figures? Thanks, Dan |

For what its worth, I think it's the wheels that really make it too too large, when next to a 15mm figure. That's my experience with other Hot Wheels anyway. If, however, you were to remove the wheels and fill in the front wheel well with putty, you might well be able to come away with a convincing hover car. That said, there's a thread on this forum from earlier today, or maybe yesterday, about using some Tron toys to make futuristic police cruisers that look GREAT, with nothing but paint to modify them. |

LittleBigWars put up a different Hot Wheels selection a while back, looks pretty sharp, IMHO. link |

Oversized wheels are a well-loved part of science fiction designs, especially from the 80's. The size of the doors is the main issue for me, because those are explicitly sized for the occupant. |

Haven't seen that one, but I wouldn't worry too much about the size. You can presume it's a bit larger than normal, to carry bad guys in the back. |

pop off the front wheels and make it a flyer |

Wait, that's a Demolition Man car
Ohhhh my. CC, you just made my day and possibly derailed my zombie project. I need a 15mm Wesley Snipes, STAT! And I'll fine players for violation of the Verbal Morality Statutes. |

Well, here's the end result of my efforts (I suspect the car is a similar size). Judge for yourself if it's too small (though I'm sure my SWAT guys would rather have a roomier ride).

The Car Looks OK but the SWAT van does seem a bit small. |

The Alternative Armies Megopolis Police are a bit on the thick side, but they're about the same height as the Khurasan DEVGRU SEALs I'm using for SWAT. |

Has anyone gotten the Matchbox HEMTT? What's the scale on that? |
