There was an 25MM Minifig ACW army of around 270 painted figures on ebay here in Australia last week. I kind of regret not having bid now oh well, c'est la vie. |

I'm always looking for 15mm strip ancients, primarily EIR and enemies

Having just minimally renovated an old (40 years?) Marlburian Minifig army I think in future my 25mm projects will be Minifigs; ranges permitting of course. Reason being, my old eyes and hands are not up to the minutely detailed and heavily undercut metals,or the assembly of hordes of 28mm plastics popular these days. link |

No good to me (I could cry as I want some of these) as US sales only but here are some 15mm strips; auction |

Speaking of old lead, what does anybody know about Jacobite Miniatures? I have some packs from "Simtac Inc" in Niantic CT. When were these made is one question. |

I have a few divisions of Jacobite. Very slender figures, but they paint up really nicely. Flags were cast on the figure, flying boldly they were far to heavy to be sustainable. Horses werent great. My first ed 15mm minifigs got an airing only last week. From a few feet away they look great, as they advance clutching their telegraph pole weaponry of indeterminate form
. The player who used them was very pleased to have a game with them. And yes, they won!! |

Jacobite had some odd troops for the time, IIRC my Danish and Ottoman troops came from there. The figures crackled when you held the bases down and bent the body upright, can't think of any other way to describe it. |
