I'm looking for figs for Zombie/PostApoc games, set near the onset of the "BigOops", so Stateside equiped rapid-response troops of Active/Guard/Reserve units: only need a squad or so
what are y'all's favorite manufacturers? Thanks in advance! Chris the Tall |

I am fond of The Assault Group you can also throw some of their SWAT into the mix. |

Eureka's new SEALs and/or Marines and/or Empress Miniatures US troopers would be my choice. Gorgeous figures. |

Thanks Guys! I did a quick look-up on all three manufacturers, really nice stuff! I'll look more in-depth tonight after work. Chris |

Devil Dog Designs also did a lot of different 28mm US military figures. Black Scorpion also has a platoon of really nice Marines. The most modern look for basic Grunts is probably Eureka, though. |

You could also check Victory Force. They make some nice riot gear SWAT and figures in Hazmat suits. link |

I'll second The Assault Group. Lovely figures, and as noted, SWAT teams, as well as "terrorists" types. The Eastern irregular figs would make great "survivalists". |

JLA105 – thanks, I had forgotten about Victory Force, even though almost all my Zeds are from them! :) any advice on how Foundry and Copplestone compare to TAG, Eureka, and VF? I'm leaning towards Eureka and TAG combo right now, they look more proportional to me Chris |

TAG has good prices and nice, hefty sculpts, but the weird weapons they hold in their hands are pretty off-putting to me. That is mainly an issue with the M4/M16 Rifles, which look nothing compared to their real counterparts. IF you don't care about such accuracy, buy a pack or two ;) |

any advice on how Foundry and Copplestone compare to TAG, Eureka, and VF? I'm leaning towards Eureka and TAG combo right now, they look more proportional to me Tough question, all work together but TAG and Copplestone work best together while Foundry Street Violence's scale varies somewhat from pack to pack, Eureka tends to be on the light side while VF is on the heavy size. small to big Eureka, Foundry, TAG/Copplestone, VF |

Thank You, Gray Ghost, for the comparisons
Eureka looked the best for me for Grunts and TAG or Foundry for SWAT Chris |

Empress Miniatures US troopers are the ones I use, they are quite stunning |

I was lucky enough to see the Empress minis in the "flesh" recently at the Reading Warfare convention. They are truly beautiful minis. |

I have a squad of Empress modern US army and they look great! I Highly recommend those figures. |
