….you can make a bid on eBay to own "the smallest kingdom in the world".

Is this legit? I mean, look at the start and end times.

You know, I might have been interested. I do have some unpainted Zendarian troopers that have nothing better to do.

dunno, for 30MM, I'd want more than just a palace with minting rights.

What's with not actually naming the place, size, location, etc?

Isnt it the secret European hideout of the Nigerian Oil Minister?

It's a legit hotel. German noble titles are rather common, many are being sold by way of adoption (no age limit, just a "legal" way to transfer a title). Don't know about the minting rights, I've had a coin business but have never seen a 20th or 21st century coin from there, and am not sure even of older ones. Anyhow, the free city of Goslar, where thishotel is located, minted coins from the 14th century up to its annexation by Prussia in 1802 and was the real power in that area - power being a relative word in a seriously splintered area.

seems it declared itself a kingdom in the 1970's.

I know this, it's next to a rather big street so I can't recommend it for romantic reasons. Nice region though.

So if I buy this guy's kingdom, can I strip the titles of nobility from all of the people he's been selling them to on e-bay for 2000+ euros? After all, it's good to be the king, right?

The Imperial Kingdom of the Miniatures Page?

Come on, folks, how much can we scrape up?
