About those little flags carried by NCO on Napoleon Wars.
Not sure if their original size is the same of our little soldiers on plastic or metal. link And they are still today in the French Forces. link For translation you could used

Commented about these before and wonder the same thing. I have plates in books showing them, and I know in the AWI the Americans used them. Did all countries use them Prussia, Russia, Britain? |
