Does anyone know anything about the artwork on the markers all over the Stones River Battlefield? They all appear to be paintings by the same person but I can't find anything on them. I've e-mailed the park for more info but haven't heard anything back yet, plus who knows more Civil War related facts than TMPers!

Pretty cool artwork on the Markers. They ususally are signed even on markers. You did not see any names at all? My quest by style is John Paul Strain.

Thanks for the responses. At first I thought it was John Paul Strain as well but couldn't actually confirm it. I did finally get a response back from the park. They were all commissioned to be done by Andy Thomas. His website is here: andythomas.com
