Here is a picture of the new Fife & Drum AWI Continentals painted as the 3rd Pennsylvania Regiment, circa 1777:

Here is a picture of the firing line figures. I particularly like how the different poses in this group fit so nicely together. I also added one militia figure in brimmed hat to the base for variety:

And finally, here are the mounted American officers:

The terrain items (fences, trees and buildings) were all made by Herb Gundt (H.G. Walls)

They are 1/56 scale, which is close to 28mm. As many of you know, these figures are sculpted by the very talented Richard Ansell.

Distractions, always distractions…

The firing line "in action" rather than drill is really nice. A "unit pose" I've long wished to see a lot more of for the entire horse & musket era.

Hi DAF. Do you planning some others units? What about Pulaski Legion, Lauzun Hussars, or Casimir Pulaski figure? I like your figures. They looking really nice. Regards. Stan

I am currently focusing my efforts on the Philadelphia Campaign of 1777 and Monmouth in 1778 in the Northern Theatre of War. To the extent that the British and American line infantry are used in the Southern Theatre, the figures will be provided for that sector. Eventually I will add Americans in hunting shirts which can be used in both theaters of war.

When I get to the personalities, Cornwallis, Greene and Tarleton and Morgan will certainly be in the mix. I hadn't thought about Pulaski, but my recollection is that he also appeared in the North so that is a possibility. I'm afraid that Lauzan Legion is far far down the road though. South Carolina infantry in caps are a distinct possibility after I get the basics done for both armies.

Next in the queue:

1) British line and grenadiers (in bearskins) infantry
2) artillery equipment, limbers, limber horses and artillery crew – both sides
3) personalities
4) Continentals in brimmed hats and peaked caps
5) Continentals in hunting shirts
6) Highlanders
7) Hessians
8) French -early uniform for Savannah

and more to follow. We intend to have a VERY COMPLETE RANGE of figures for the AWI.

Sounds very interesting. How much will cost postage to United Kingdom? Thank you. Stan

Postage will vary by weight of course. I've been sending some packages via Priority Mail (small box) for about $10 USD-1 and a maximum weight of 4 pounds. You can get a considerable amount of figures for up to 4 pounds of weight.

PS: I left dragoons off the list in the earlier post.

Sir;
Both John the OFM and I support Fusiliers in Bearskins. And the '68 Warrant. I would love to see SC "capped" infantry as well.

He allowed me a glipse of some of your very fine figures when I was removing an ill pile of lead from his abode.

I must say that not only was I highly impressed, I was struck by how human like the figures were.

I hope that I will be able to order from you in the near future and support your wonderful range of figures.

All the best.

Eric
