Im pretty sure these are from Victory Force.

Would you mind checking them out, and let me know what you think?

Perhaps try a light purple wash? Otherwise, great looking figures. What gray did you use?

jdeleonardis29 Nov 2011 7:50 a.m. PST

Its Deneb Stone as the base, plus some highlights (vallejo I think). Then, I washed with a mix of purple and green. Maybe instead of mixing I should do one, then the other?

I like them …but you could use more "normal " color flesh tinted with roting flesh for fresh zombies only a few days old…..

Xintao29 Nov 2011 10:57 a.m. PST

Nice work.

nope from my point of view, you need to start with the same paint job you do with your live people and do a wash of the blue gray on top.

It is very hard to get it right. A little too gray for me. A black wash would help. Stay way from green. a flesh tone adds a lot to Zombies.

Keep doing what you're doing, except add a highlight to the skin that's a 50/50 mix of the base grey and a pallid flesh.

The secret is to chew it fifty times before swallowing? ;-)

combatpainter Fezian29 Nov 2011 5:07 p.m. PST

I like what I see.

I use light blue. purple, green, and gray.

28mmMan29 Nov 2011 7:30 p.m. PST

I like them.

jdpintex29 Nov 2011 8:56 p.m. PST

Very nice. I like a little more of a blue tinge to mine. I found a nice bluish grey craft paint that I like.

Not a fan of the green tinged zombies.

Wow, so I guess the moral of the story is that there are as many ways to paint zombies as there are zombie painters!!!

Thanks for the opinions all!

They look great, cracking job

Delthos30 Nov 2011 7:48 p.m. PST

Looks good but I'm more partial to green toned zombies rather than blue tones.

Goose66601 Dec 2011 10:53 a.m. PST

Yes they are from Victory Force.

I did a review of their figures here, if anyone is interested. link

The paint job is nice. I like it.
