We've been running 2 day gaming weekenders for Republic to Empire in Scotland for nearly 2 years now. With 5 under our belts we have broadened the geography and secured an excellent venue in Derby. The residential weekenders will run at the Derby Conference Centre just outside the city centre. The first is an 1813 game running 23/25 March 2012: Friday through to Sunday. Everything is supplied except rules, tape measure and dice. Just rock up and play. The figures are all from the League of Augsburg collection (and LoGW). The terrain is custom made by Adrian Howe some links to Ade's terrain here and some of our games too; link link link link You can book on by contacting wordtwister@hotmail.co.uk or a.howe2@ntlworld.com link

Wasn't Derby where the last bunch of Scottish invaders turned around and headed back North? Seriously, good luck guys |

You're right of course FaW, they had a look around, didn't think it was up to much for a night out and headed home! It has changed though and is now a wonderful place! :) On the subject of the terrain.. Ade is pulling the stops out for this one but his work has always been really high quality |

For anybody thinking of coming along for the weekend just to let you know that places are steadily being taken. Its becoming quite cosmopolitan with Austrians,Germans and Scots joining our English contingent. Plenty more shots of previous weekenders and Ade's fantastic terrain on the LoA website. |
