…and this announcement comes ONE DAY after I ordered Lancers from Old Glory……

I hope they're nice…if I had known these were on the way I wouldn't have ordered them.

Oh well!

I know what you mean, Greg! These new Empress lancers look fantastic. Of course, I have my own unit of painted, based, and terrained Foundry 17th Lancers, serving as the 9th Lancers in the Second Afghan War. But I may well have to break down and replace them in their entirety. The new British command figures look excellent as well.

essayons728 Nov 2011 7:34 a.m. PST

Maybe I can just have TWO units of lancers!

LOL.

Magnificent! Can the Lancers double as 5th (Royal Irish) in the Sudan with green-stuff puggarrees and puttees? Not sure if they carried bamboo or ash lances in the Sudan, but I must say these cast metal lances with pennons look very good. I usually use GMB paper flags.

very nice, may have to replace, gulp, my current lancers!! Sal Sr out!!!
