I know what you mean, Greg! These new Empress lancers look fantastic. Of course, I have my own unit of painted, based, and terrained Foundry 17th Lancers, serving as the 9th Lancers in the Second Afghan War. But I may well have to break down and replace them in their entirety. The new British command figures look excellent as well. |

Magnificent! Can the Lancers double as 5th (Royal Irish) in the Sudan with green-stuff puggarrees and puttees? Not sure if they carried bamboo or ash lances in the Sudan, but I must say these cast metal lances with pennons look very good. I usually use GMB paper flags. |
