What would work best to represent a Jolly Green at 1/600 – a CH-53 or an S-61? (Looking at Tumbling Dice a/c – if someone else does a dedicated model, all the better.)

Thanks!

A fellow in the 1/600 Yahoo Group made one by adding a feuling probe to the TD CH-53. Looked good.

That's what I thought too – Sikorsky used the stretch fuselage of the HH-3 as the basis for the CH-53, which was then used as the Super Jolly. Figured might as well cut out the middle man and use the CH-53, but thought I'd ask in case I was missing something.

I've got HH-3 made some time ago, but I don't put it to production yet…

Thanks, MArcin. Any chance of putting it out in the coming year?

Sundance: I have to combine it with something – 8 HH-3 in pack will be too much I suppose…

Sundance24 Nov 2011 7:36 a.m. PST

LOL – yes, that would be too many. Two would probably be the most anyone would need. You could combine two HH-3s with 4 AD-1 Skyraiders, which flew cover for them during recovery missions.

Original plan was to make set from 2 HH-3, 2 O-1 and 4 A-1E. Maybe I will back to this project.

Sundance25 Nov 2011 1:11 p.m. PST

That would be a good mixture as well.

Windward25 Nov 2011 9:13 p.m. PST

Sure would make a good pack!

Kaoschallenged25 Nov 2011 11:16 p.m. PST

I would buy a pack even though I have the Oddzial Osmy (O8) Skyraiders already :). Robert
