It has to be the same guy both mounted and dismounted versions (same gear and equipment)…My head is swimming looking at all the tiny pictures on different sites. It should also match Warlord and Perry sculpts…Thank you…

altfritz21 Nov 2011 9:51 a.m. PST

Any good at conversions?

Stepman321 Nov 2011 10:05 a.m. PST

I can do the rare head swap or arm, guns and swords…sculpting is out of the question…

So what you're really looking for is a witch-finder-finder!

Stepman321 Nov 2011 10:26 a.m. PST

cute…

Hurlbat Games21 Nov 2011 10:48 a.m. PST

The only mounted and dismounted ones I have seen are Wargames Foundry:

Redoubt and West Wind both do foot-only witchfinders.

GreatScot7221 Nov 2011 10:49 a.m. PST

Would this suit your needs?

Okay, seriously, some of the best out there are from the defunct Confrontation metals line and the Griffin faction. If you can track down any of those, I think they would fit the bill nicely.
There were several in the line. Here is one:

I believe there were mounted versions, but I cannot be sure of my memories.

Stepman321 Nov 2011 10:50 a.m. PST

I did see them…while I usually like the older Foundry sculpts these are "iffy" at best and not very tough looking…but thank you…

Zinkala21 Nov 2011 10:51 a.m. PST

Oddly enough I was just looking at these before coming here.

There's a couple of witch fnders on page 1 and 2.

Have you looked at the GW Mordheim: Highway Man? Mounted and dismounted, big coat/cloak. He has a scarf over his lower face, but this is not out of place.

Look at the bottom of this page:

The one and only :)

Lowtardog22 Nov 2011 2:08 a.m. PST

I think Brigade have some US settlers whihc could be useful

NightskyWildfire22 Nov 2011 2:22 a.m. PST

Yes Brigade has 3 pilgrim/puritan packs in their King Philips War line.

Black Army Productions also has a puritan witch hunter on foot in their Champions of History range, but it doesn't look like it would take much effort to convert in to a rider.

This was from Pike and Shot but I failed to find the source of the miniatures…but they look good.

GW Highwayman for Mordheim, if you convert the silly Napoleonic bicorne to a puritan or slouched hat?
(OK, beaten…)

Palewarrior22 Nov 2011 12:03 p.m. PST

West wind might have something in their horror ranges.

Stepman322 Nov 2011 1:33 p.m. PST

I think I found them…

bottom left and upper right corners…

Warlord makes a nice bible-invoking preacher that might work.

Red Line29 Nov 2011 3:23 a.m. PST

@ 28mmMan;
The body is from Warlord's Pike & Shotte sprue, the arms are from GW's Empire Militia. ('Free Company')
