I've just finished some more CB Gallic warbands that allow me to field the Gallic army against Carthaginians or Syracusans with Gallic mercenaries:

I very much like your colour schemes that you choose for your figures. Think I might be nicking your Xystophoroi colours, they work a treat. Have the same old Frie Korp and they are still better than many of teh more modern figures if you pick and choose carefully.

I like your Syracusan Hoplites and cavalry, nicely done.

Thanks very much. The Freikorp mounted are great. I like the way different shields and the Xyston spears improved the Essex hoplites (and the Essex spears have been used as javelines for many other figures!).

My colour schemes are all a bit hit and miss, as I try to lighten the colours a bit before using the wash, which darkens them again. If a colour is really nasty I don't know until after the wash, and by then it's too late!
