On a scale of 0 (poor) to 10 (excellent), how would you rate the fluff (background fiction) from the Grey Knights codex for Warhammer 40,000?

Jokaero: 10

Everything else: 0-meh

Love me some tech-savant apes, I do.

The new stuff – what I have read so far…somewhere between 0 and 3.

It seems that they have sort of given up on deep thoughts for the core of GW background in favor of fan fiction written by 6th graders. Considering that is their target audience though, it might not be too bad of a path.

1. It was really really weak considering the fluff-rich world it was drawn from.

Yeah, I noticed the changes from 4th to 5th edition for the Imperial Guard included removal of chem inhalents and renaming Hellguns to "Hot-shots"…. Utter blasphemy I say! And if I'm not mistaken, the new Dark Eldar lack combat drugs, don't they?
