I just received my order of Oddzial Osmy's New Vistula Legion 15mm figs yesterday and posted a comparison shot on my blog so you can see how these look compared to other minis.
They look great but the only negative is that they are slightly smaller than other current ranges, the metal is slightly brittle as well but that's not an issue unless you want to bend the figures. I doubt it'll put me off getting more and I can recommend you get these guys…

Oops. I should have said that the figures are:
1. Arc Recon Trooper with sniper rifle from Critical Mass Games
2. New Vistula Legion specialist from Oddzial Osmy
3. Spug drone from Spriggan Miniatures
4. SAS Infantry with plasma rifle from Micropanzer
5. Chewke from Khurasan Miniatures

Nice mug shot, thanks for posting

the metal is slightly brittle as well but that's not an issue unless you want to bend the figures.

I agree with this 100%. While the bending issue is not a problem for the Vistula Legion, it is a major disappointment on the Space Worms since I had planned to bend them to repose the figures for some variety. Unfortunately I now feel that they are far more likely to break than to bend. A slight change in the metal to something a little less brittle would make the worms a lot more interesting.

I think I'll pick up some worms as a unit to accompany my Spugs and Chewks. I won't need many so the flexibility won't be an issue.

Thanks for the comparison shot. Really helpful!

Looks like they may match up well with the GZG, Rebel, and Khurasan troopers though, since the ARC troopers are a bit larger than them, if the info I've read is correct.

How much of that shortness do you suppose is due to stance? He seems like he's a bit hunched over and running compared to the others who are standing rather erect.

I did some scale pictures of the Camera Crew and Space Worms by Oddzial Osmy. They are at the end of the page listed below with the blue terrain. The unlabeled minis are from Oddzial Osmy.

Another comparison photo, this showing New Vistula Legion and GZG's Hammer Slammers and UNSC figures…

The grid background is 5mm, and these are the most upright figures from each I have.

Interesting that really shows how a PJ can influence your perception of a model. I absolutely don't mean any offence, your PJ is good, it's just that those Vistulas had a truly amazing PJ when previewed here which I think was a big element of their wow factor.

In terms of size they fit in quite well with the GZG, though legs are perhaps a bit proportionately short?

Rottenlead23 Nov 2011 3:34 a.m. PST

Having seen the New Vistula up close and in the flesh I think they look great and fit in well with all ranges. I really like the detail on the weapons which look like various modern assault rifles and are very clean and defined.

Is it me or Critical Mass' miniatures have a HUGE SLAB O' METAL under their feet?

It must be 2mm thick…

BlackWidowPilot Fezian25 Feb 2012 1:45 p.m. PST

I don't know why… but these new Vistula Legion figures make me think of ethnic *Ghurkas*…. just add monomolecular-edged kukris…evil grin
