Assuming one sculpted a multi-limbed alien creature, such as these tentacled guys here, but the alien was done as a single piece sculpt:

Would something like that be basically impossible to cast and produce as a single piece figure?

Thanks,

Dan

Cast in two – The body (with eye stalks) and the arms in a ring.

If you had not realised these are a future version of the Darwin Games Occulites:

You changed that – it did not say 'single peice' when I responded ggrrr grin

Oops. Sorry.

I'm hoping single piece. But, if not possible, I'm definitely open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks!

Shouldn't be that hard to do as a single piece.

I'd say a 3 piece model if it wereto look alot like the picture. Trunk, tentacles and eye stalk separate. To do it as a single piece the tentacles would have to run down the side of the body and probably the fingers would need to be flat on an integral base. You'd probably lose much of the vibe of the creature doing it this way.

edit: could be a 3 piece kit but a 2 piece casting if the eye stalk was cast coming out of the top of the body section.

I wish I could find additional pics of them (from the actual movie) so I can use as reference.

Yeah, two pieces or more to avoid requisite 'flatness'…

Hmmm two parts makes more sense.

The alien body looks like an upside down octopus with the neck and eye stalk in the mouth hole.

So those two parts.

Will do!

Thanks, guys.
