Eureka/Fighting 15s middle eastern civilians a nice range of Afghan types, for goats I would look at Hovels, mega minis etc…http://www.fighting15sshop.co.uk/middle-eastern-90-c.asp

Ive used most from both as civilians for modern games

Thanks: those are damn fine looking goats by Empress and will do nicely.

I had previously looked at Eureka for civilians. I tend to be put off a bit with the "random selection" aspect as, when I ordered figures before, I was not really happy with the selection which was sent.

As I intend to use these for the NW Frontier in colonial games, I might just stick with a seated Pathan holding a jezail. No doubt there were goat rustlers way back then and no self-respecting Pathan would have gone anywhere without his rifle!

Westwind made a pack of Arab civlians in their Chaos in Cairo range-4 or 5 unarmed guys. I have them and use them in various NWF scenarios, but I can't seem to find them on the WW site anymore

Ah now fighting 15s sell them in the packs as shown so you wont get randoms they work well for villagers, in some ways the indians mor ethan the arabs

Dear Alan,
Please accept my apologies for making you unhappy.
If you want one particular pose, please ask us, we can usually do it. The reason we tell you we supply randomly, is that we don't like to supply duplicates (or more) of the same pose if we can help it. Our moulds are set up to run equal numbers of all the variants, and that is how we supply our customers – with equal numbers.
Please contact me at Eureka Miniatures and we can try and sort this out.
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Nic Eureka Miniatures

Nic,

Thank you for your message. I really feel I made a mountain out of a mole-hill and very much regret having mentioned it in the first place.

Please rest assured that I was more than happy with thte figures themselves and being "unhappy" about the selection was probably overstating the situation. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your figures to anyone!

Alan

Alan is too shy however I would dearly love to assess his complaint by generously offering to review and assess then verify the potential minefield of random descriptions by receiving one of everything in your 28mm range now and going forward on release…..oh and your 15mm scif and Mexican American war…and possible crimea range
