Having read everything last Fall I'm wondering if it is safe to bring this up yet. Anyone know when or if these will be avaiable again? All I want is to complete my centaur units. (ducks quickly behind his chair)

Not sure if this is helpfull but pendraken do centaurs.

Hi, Tuudawgs. As owner of the masters, molds and IP rights, I have been making arrangements to get someone to bring them back into production. The person I chose will begin to sort things out upon his return from an "iteration" to Africa, sometime in December. I will gladly give more details when I hear from him that he is ready to start production. My best guesstimate that will be sometime in January.

BTW, a note of clarity: Minifigs has been selling a couple of AIM ranges for years. They are not Minifigs products, but they (Caliver) have my permission to continue to supply. Once the main ranges get back in production, I will get with Dave and offer masters so they too, can offer the whole range if he so desires at that time.

I still have more ancients to release from the original lists. We also replaced cast on flags with flag poles; remade the ACW arty tubes; remade many of those awful ACW infantry molds that had the vents come from their heads and redesigned the ACW limbers to seat just two! (Man, that was a real pet peeve with me!) That was done before I left for Germany.

So hope you can hang on till then. If not, like ciaphas suggested, Pendraken does some. Dragonhead Games in Pa. had a lot of stock at one time, they might just have a couple of extra packs still on their racks.

Hope this info is of some use to some.

Tom, any guess on what will happen to the Minifigs USA molds? I rather liked the Vendee rebels. Don't see them in Minifigs UK.

Tom,

Thanks, good to know I have something to look forward to. I have waited this long, a couple of month won't matter.

Thanks, Jim.

Hi, Vincent. That was a pack that we modified from the following UK codes:

(all 15mm Napoleonic)
2 INS – Guerillas (Spanish list)
34NR – Russian list- Male Partisans
35NR – Russian list- Female Partisans

You could probably use these three packs mostly "as is".

The Minifigs molds remain in storage if/until Mr. Higgs grants a license to a new North American company AND they are interested in purchasing them from us. This ensures that nobody can produce from the molds (ie pirates from these molds).

We modified many figures into numbers that filled holes in the ranges, with permission from Mr. Higgs at the time. I would be happy to make them available to Caliver if they wanted them, after they get put back in order in the new storage site. Unfortunately, nothing will happen till later next year. "I" and one other are the only ones that can identify the master and production molds without literally hundreds of hours of research using a catalog and the process of elimination. "I" redid the WWI Americans and put them in helmets and repositioned a few poses to show more action. There also was a pack of modified ACW figures (15mm) done by the pervious owners in NY. We added LOTS (around 50+) new/converted sculpts for the 15mm SYW and WSS ranges, to name a few. While we got all of the later two in master molds, only about 1/3 saw production molds made before I left. Their designer , Frank Okavich, did a super job on these new figs and was very, very much a stickler for getting the details right! There was one fig we had to remaster over 3 times because he "just wasn't happy with" because he kept finding details he either got wrong or omitted. We finally had to say, "Stop…Only you and I know you could have added another button or change the cuff…" They all would have made it to the production mold stage if we would have stopped him earlier, but to tell the truth, I will always be glad we remolded his earlier efforts (which were awesome on their own) because the later works just blew away the earlier ones!

Somewhere around here, I have a copy of all the figs he did for SYW/WSS. It almost doubled the line of offerings. Each major country had at least two poses for each major infantry foot types (M/A and Advancing) along with new drummers, officers, SB and officers/NCO with sponsons!

One day, I must shoot some pics of what I may still have. Only kept enough for pictures for the website (usually just 1 ea).

Hope that helps you a bit.

Hi Tom
Any word on what is to become of the Samurai range in 10mm?

Any idea of when we will see the Ancients range again?

The Epic Gamer14 Feb 2013 8:50 p.m. PST

Or the 10mm AIM Samurai?

Did a trip towhere the molds are being stored and did an inventory. I can bring back most of the ranges with just a few molds missing (mixed up with the Minifigs molds). For the most part, 90% there!

Will be able to put out a listing and take orders soon (about 3 weeks)! (End of March-ish 2020).

Only AIM 10mm ranges: Ancients, ECW, Samurai, Naps and ACW for now. AWI as we locate the molds (which are identified differently than the other AIM ranges.

It's been a long time in coming!
