One of the troopers in our fourth fireteam of the JTFB, the Jasmine Throne Foreign Battalions, looks quite familiar!

He might be short, but treat him with respect, because he has proven he really knows how to use that anti-matter carbine!

I was really pleased when Josh contacted me and said he'd be fine with my including one of his very unique signature creatures in the JTFB sets. And Iain has done a splendid job carrying the look over to the JTFB.

This set is still being made but I couldn't resist showing this sneak peek.

Awesome, and a really great idea to do a cross-over.

Psyckosama04 Nov 2011 8:24 a.m. PST

Holy crap. That is so damned awesome!

Josh, are you listening? We need 15mm Space Quar… STAT! :D

Komorigumo04 Nov 2011 9:00 a.m. PST

That is so awesome!

Tom Reed04 Nov 2011 9:19 a.m. PST

QUAR!…… IN!……… SPACE!……..

Must have…..

khurasanminiatures04 Nov 2011 9:36 a.m. PST

There will be four other unique aliens in the fourth fireteam, including another species from my ranges that you will all recognise (and it's not a Garn as we already have a Garn Flesheater in our third fireteam…).

headzombie04 Nov 2011 9:38 a.m. PST

Perfect.

Felid we want !
And clhulho cultist with squidface !!!

And i wouldnt mind unholy union with Critical (i know its harder with direct competitor :) resulting in Snakeman legionary and Dogmen legionary !

That is so cool, reminds me of when DC and Marvel did crossover comics (characters from both universes in one magazine). Props to Josh for allowing it.

Wolfprophet04 Nov 2011 2:10 p.m. PST

Awesome! That alone would be enough to get me to buy the pack it'll be in.

khurasanminiatures04 Nov 2011 3:34 p.m. PST

He didnt just allow it, he suggested it! I never would have been cheeky enough to ask another manufacturer if I could make a model of one of his designs. wink

SpaceJacker04 Nov 2011 4:07 p.m. PST

I can't wait for the JTFB, I'll be getting the whole darn lot.

'He didnt just allow it, he suggested it! I never would have been cheeky enough to ask another manufacturer if I could make a model of one of his designs'

Seems unsurprising. Josh of Zombiesmith strikes me as an open, friendly person. The kind of person who go "Wouldn't it be cool if.." Then tries to do it.

Couldn't hurt to ask some manufacturers if you can use some of their aliens in the JTFB? Could be interesting to see a Crusty or a Protolene in one of the fireteams.

Edit*
I see someone already suggested asking Critical Mass Games… I concur. Would be awesome to see some of their Naga and some of the stuff from their mercs lines in the JTFB as well.

I won't do that, I don't want to take advantage of niches other guys have found in this very small industry. But I completely agree about Josh, his Quar are so popular because he has such a passion for them and it shows in the final product.

Gunner Dunbar04 Nov 2011 6:54 p.m. PST

cool, love the idea some much I may buy some Quar just to support such a cool guy.

ajbartman05 Nov 2011 5:03 a.m. PST

Yes. Got to love the little guy!
