These are ultra cheap 1:87 scale Moder Railroad cars. You may be familiar with thouse cars.
Matchbox bulldozer. I bought it a year ago. This vehicle will fit well 15mm sci-fi outposts!
Small Matchbox bulldozer, bought in Target for about a week ago! Fits 15mm scale very well
Another Matchbox truck. Not sure about it scale. It looks big camparing to HO car.
But comparing to just only 15mm figure it looks well. At leas its cabinlooks perfectly for 15mm figure

) and almost scaled correctly for 28 mm.
Another Matchbox truck. Not sure about it scale. It looks big camparing to HO car. Looks to be based off from a Tatra 815 4x4. |

Kealios: "Those are cool. Take them apart, remove the glass, prime and paint, then put the glass back in

What's the best way to take it apart, in the first place? Flip it over and put it in a vise or bench clamp. Get an electric or cordless drill with somewhere between a 1/8" to 3/16" bit. Using the lowest speed setting you have, drill out the rivets. (those look like metal rings sticking through the plastic, for you mechanically-challenged types out there). It'll come apart effortlessly, and you can superglue it back together. It's even easier than it sounds – you'll probably nail it the first time you try. Chris K. |

Be aware, some of the not-Matchbox cars have "glass" that is glued in place. If it doesn't come loose easily, toss it in the freezer over night. When you take it out the next day it should pop right off (chances are good that it will actually pop off during the night by itself). |

CLKeagle: "for you mechanically-challenged types out there" That describes me perfectly! Thanks for the explanation. Dan PS. SirFjodin, are you hurting that bird? :) |

I think I'll be searching out the bulldozer and the truck, and maybe the people carrier at the right of the 1st pic. That would go nicely with the 15mm news crew from Oddzial Osmy. Picked this digger/jvc from Poundland last week. Looks fine with 15mm

Great Findings! Following your suggestion, I've just ordered a pack of 20 H0 scenery cars from eBay for less than $9 USD, mostly for post-apocalyptic use. |
