Anyone know of a source for these? Found them in 20mm and own them in 6mm. Can't find them in 15s. |

Dosent QRF do some of those
i have them in 6mm as well every variant but the NBC and FSE ones. |

I checked their website but didn't see them. GHQ has a complete line which is beautiful. This is one reason I had decided to stay at platoon level for 15s
tough to find higher level vehicles! Maybe I'll stick with 20s. Seems to be a larger variety of current vehicles available. |

QRF has them, but it took a search to find them. link Jeff |

Those QRF Strykers are the ICVs, not MGS with 105mm gun or MC with 120mm/81mm mortar. Is there a link to a QRF MGS or MC? |
GeoffQRF | 03 Nov 2011 3:01 p.m. PST |
Give me a bit longer – we currently only have the ICV, but hoping to add the MGS, MCV and RV soon. |

Sorry Wartopia, I missed that you only wanted the MGS. Jeff |

That's good news Geoff! No problem Jeff! Are there any more ways to spell Jeff/Geoff? :-) |

Higher-level? The MGS and Mortar Carrier are company assets, Wartopia! A single Stryker Company has a 3-truck MGS platoon and a 2-truck mortar section as organic assets. The 120mm mortars are permanently mounted in the Strykers, and the 60mms are available as dismount weapons. Battalion has 81mm mortars as dismounted weapons. We really need at least the MGS and Mortar Carrier! (And some modern US Army with Barrett .50s and an M24 or M14 EBR, still need the Sniper Section) |

The Eureka package will offer the 120mm mortar, MGS, medic & engineer version as well as the Mk-19 GL and .50 all for the price of 1 (the weapon systems come as options). |
GeoffQRF | 04 Nov 2011 2:24 a.m. PST |
(the weapon systems come as options) There is more than just a weapon system's difference between the ICV and the MGS
The 120mm mortars are permanently mounted in the Strykers, and the 60mms are available as dismount weapons. Battalion has 81mm mortars as dismounted weapons. The M1129 MC has a fixed 120mm mortar. The earlier MCV-A required it to be dismounted to be fired, but they fixed the floor support issues with the MCV-B so it can now be fired from within the vehicle. :-) There is a single 60mm mortar which can be used dismounted (but only enough crew to operate either the 120mm or the 60mm) and battalion level vehicles have a dismoutnable 81mm on board. And some modern US Army with Barrett .50s and an M24 or M14 EBR, still need the Sniper Section I have both sat in front of me, next to the 15 Chinese poses. I will also add the 60mm and 81mm mortar crews :-) It is still my target to provide everything you need to field this:

Geoff, I am pretty sure he meant the option between the MK19 and the .50 on the ICV. |
GeoffQRF | 04 Nov 2011 5:01 a.m. PST |
Ah, that's a minimal change. In fact in 15mm you can pretty much just snip off the 0.50 short

Wartopia | 04 Nov 2011 5:10 a.m. PST |
Geoff, That's an excellent goal. I have this currently in 6mm but with this new "3:1" approach i'd like to field it in 15mm or 20mm. I noticed this organization is similar to the German Armored PzGren company in WWII in that it combines indirect and direct fire support with lots of automatic weapons and armored vehicles at company level. For the wargamer both organizations provide great opportunities for combined arms warfare with realistic forces at a relatively low level. |

Excellent news, Geoff! My wallet is weeping, slightly, but it will get over the pain. |
