Great report and well done and finishing in the prizes.

What would you have done differently in the last match?

Cheers,

Hi Timurilank
What whould I have done in the last match?
Easy answer; not attacked.
I could have just sat back and let the Normans attack me. The terrain was in my favour I think.
But I wanted to have some fun and throw some dice.
It nearly went my way.
The Norman knight came very close in the first round of combat to being destroyed. The dice just didn't roll my way.
Cheers

I've heard of wargaming at the Auburn Bowls Club before. Is their a club operating out of there? Is there regular meetings and DBA going on?

I've been on a bit of a painting splurge this year and am looking to put some of my lead to good use.
Some Vikings I painted for someone.

Hi Twilight Sam
I think they play DBA often enough.
Fantastic Brush Work BTW. Do you do commission work?
I have a DBA Cartaginian Army that needs painting.
Cheers

Upon occasion.
However I'm taking a break until the new year so I can finish off a few of my own projects. Perhaps we can talk then.

Hi Trailape, Great after action report & some fantasitic photos. It was a great night & pleasure to see hard fought games played in good spirit.

Twilight Samuri, The Auburn Bowls club is the regular venue for the Monday Knights war game group (Melbourne chapter).

Meetings are every Monday Evening (with the exception of public holidays) between 6pm – 11pm. The Monday Knight's web page & discussion forum is here – mondayknights.org.au (Discussion forum is used to arrange games)

There is a core of players who play ancients (including FoG) and however it is probably fair to say that DBA is played "seasonally" in the weeks leading up to Tormentus (the Monday Knights hosted DBA competition) as well as the weeks leading up to the DBA competitions held by the Nunawading Wargame Association. (Unfortunately it has been a while since the last NWA comp)

Monday Knights also play DBA sporadically during the rest of the year, but there are no organised leagues or campaigns. These are organised by players who want to pick up a game using the discussion forum.

If you are interested in a couple of pick up games of DBA, you will need to sign up to the Monday Knights forum & post your interest in a game here link

Hope to see you at the Monday Knights
