Does anybody make a 15mm scale Lada or Trabant, or something similar? I'd settle for HO scale too, if need be. |

Plastruct makes some generic cars and vans in various scales inc HO and 1/100 for architectural purposes. The lok ok with a decent paint job as old soviet motor industry output :) |

Just found this HO scale Lada: link It's a bit pricey but I might be able to find it cheaper somewhere now I know these things exist. |

It's finally dawned on me what the Trabant reminds me of – the Ford Anglia!
And the Lada is not a million miles away from a Ford Zephyr or Cortina:
If anybody other than me is interested, all three are available in HO scale for reasonable prices. |

I am interested! Where from?? I am looking for a few '60s, very early '70s cars. The only one I have at the moment is a VW Camper

Bindon, I bought two Ford Anglias today from my local model shop. They're made by Oxford Diecast. Here's the link: oxforddiecast.co.uk Although billed as HO scale (1:87) on the websites I found, they're really 1:76 which is about the same as 20mm minis, so they're disappointingly large for my 15mm minis. Here's a comparison photo: link However, from above with the oversize buildings I use and at a 'gaming distance', the difference is not so bad: link Until somebody actually makes a proper 15mm Trabant, I'm going to settle for this. |
