These guys, from the movie of the same name
I was cruising through a couple miniatures sites, and saw this guy who instantly reminded me of the shoveler
The miniature has the option of huge wrench or gun
a shovel would be an easy fix or change the name to The Mechanic or The Wrench. But still, he makes a great proxy. Does this sort of other guys sort of heroes game interest you? Maybe a sidekicks level game? |

I have no interest in characters from this movie. I have hypothetical interest in RPG everyday heroes, but I no longer RPG. If I run/play a one-off game with superheroes
as infrequently as I would play such
I want the heroes to be iconic. I am currently developing a superhero game where players secretly determine just prior to the game which hero team or villainous gang they will play. Perhaps one such hero gang could be a comical team of weaklings. It would be hard to play balance without a large mass of goofs. |

Liked the movie, but you'd have an easier time finding/converting figs if you went with the original version of the characters from Flaming Carrot instead. More variety, too – there were a lot more Mystery Men than the handful in the film, many with more significant powers, most radically different from the celluloid version (Mister Furious is the only one who's even close, and even he's toned down a lot until the very end). An army of the cloned feet of Hitler would be pretty easy to make, too. |
