Here's some quick & dirty notes we concocted, to run the chase scene in last weekend's Star Wars RPG. link Ted |

(clipped from Ted's site)
this turned into a desperate battle for survival, when our heroes found themselves stranded on an island overrun by Sith Mutant Cannibals. The mutant horde pursued the party for 13 kilometers, to an abandoned base camp. A Rorke's Drift-style battle ensued, with the rescue shuttle arriving to pluck our heroes off the roof of a prefab building--just as the first wave of mutants scaled the walls
***** Sith Mutant Cannibals
three words that up to this moment I had never put together in the same sentence and yet fit so very well together. Hmmmmm mmmm mmm good!
Looks like fun. Just for shins and grits, could you
would you share the overview of what sort of player characters/NPCs that were involved? |

28mmMan: Thanks for the comments! The game was a blast to run. The PCs of the party were a Duros Scout (3rd lvl), a Duros Soldier (1st Lvl) and a Human Scoundrel (3rd Lvl). The NPCs consisted of 4 Gunganoid soldiers (2nd Lvl) and a Sullustan Mechanic. Their water speeder was destroyed in an aerial attack, leaving them stranded on the island. The party rescued the man they were searching for, a 1st lvl Bureaucrat. They also captured an Imperial Officer (2nd lvl). The dark red figures are Massassi Sith Mutants from WotC's Star Wars Miniatures. The brown, furry critters are Gnolls from WotC's D&D Miniatures. Ted |

Very interesting mix of races. Oh I forgot to mention
great recycle of aquarium plats there. Sometimes those types can come off, well, plastic. But the yellow to green tips are nice
good clusters. A few pics for the Star Wars novice types :) Duros
Gungan (me'sa es priz'd by dis choiz's :)
Sullustan (The Pancake Kid!)
***** Really interesting choices for the races there. I am actually amazed at those choices. As much grief that is normally directed towards Gungans, mostly toward Jar Jar, this one is surprising
though being NPCs it does cut down on the issue, still curious
and fun. The Pancake Kid is a funny one. Was this a nod towards Nien Nunb? ***** If I were lucky enough to be in a Star Wars RPG and to fit in with the above group then I would most likely choose between Balosar (no decent male pics, so this pic will do, but a male version
second pic is an Aenar but it is close enough)
Bith
Gand
So I can appreciate an oddball :) |

Hey, thanks for posting these pictures! The ferns came from one of the players, who indeed made them from aquarium material. I selected the Gungans for NPCs, because where the adventure took place was on an archapelago (sp). I figured due to their amphibian nature, they'd be the most likely race to settle that area. Which on this planet they call themselves the Tau Tau. As to the team's mechanic, I selected the Sullustan, because I had a figure that "looked the part." Ted Ted |
