Some of them had pretty exotic-looking triangular (lateen) sails, if I remember correctly.

Thanks,

Dan

Are you thinking "Uncharted Seas"?

I don't know exactly what the story is, but the "older" models have been on sale while the "newer" models come out. I believe TheWarStore had 'em on sale, like many others:

aha, and sale prices are listed here:

There is the Games Workshop game from 1993: Man O' War. It is long out-of-print, but was an excellent game. I think the High Elves, among others, had lateen sales.

Don't recall seeing those Green Forest ones? I wish I could zoom on the pics.

Thanks,

Spartan games has a fantasy naval line

Also, Man'O War from GW, and GW has just released a new LE boxed set, which has some fantastic plastic fantasy ships, though it is rather expensive. The machanical kraken is a work of art.

@CC, Spartan Games' Uncharted Seas. Thaniras Elves, but you want the first edition versions.

Dan,

Just right-click on the pictures at Green Forest Trading Co's site and either open in a new tab or view picture. They are fullsize, just shrunk down on the display.
