I wanted to make my 6mm sci-fi FUBAR vehicles a little special.
So after a bit of thinking I decided to add some aerials and some stowage.

The aerials are paint brush bristles and the stowage is made by Armstrong MIniatures which is now available from Heroics and Ros ( heroicsandros.co.uk )

You get tons of various bits of stuff to adorn your vehicles with and I had to make myself stop at 5 pieces.

Here is RJ1, the APC of Alpha Squad of the Earth Corps Marines.
It is the campaign look.

If you have not already added aerial and stowage to your 6mm vehicles, hopefully this will convince you it is worth it.

Michael.
Size Matters!

look s great!
how do you get the aerials to stand up properly and attach them? Looks a bit fiddley…
stowage is a really nice touch

Cheers.

Get a small pin and bash it into the model/mini/figure to make a very small indent.
Then get a long bristle, dip the end in superglue and using tweezers pop into the pin hole.

When dry cut the bristle to length.
Leaving the bristles long makes it easier to position.

I looked at drilling a hole but even my smallest drill bit was much bigger than the bristle.

I think the stowage is a great idea and glad someone makes it already!
I have the other 3 APCs to do now…

Hmmm … wonder if those stowage pieces are available in the US ?

Not sure, but they are so light and cheap anyway the total order should not be much.

Around $5 I would have thought.

Nice! The Ramjack from DRM is a great looking model to begin with – this just makes it even more effective looking :)
