On a scale of 1 (easy) to 5 (extremely difficult), how hard do you find it to assemble the Dreadfleet boxed set models? |

My buddy bought the game and brought it over on Sunday for us to try it out. Initially, I thought we would put the pieces together fairly quickly but it actually took much longer than we thought. The construction wasn't complex, there were just a lot of pieces. Some of the pieces are a bit thin and I could see them being broken fairly easy if you are not careful. Having said that, I would rate it a 2 for complexity. |

1 for some ships, 2 for others, if you take your time with the builds. But I also build plastic models, so I'm comparing to a typical plastic glue-together model. |

You may also want to paint some of the ships (specifically the Skaven ship, the vampire flagship, the dwarf ironclad, and probably some others), as it might be difficult to reach some areas with a paintbrush after they're fully assembled. There's an assembly and painting guide in this month's White Dwarf which covers this. In addition, the GW blog entry from the other day ("The first rule of Fleet Club" or somesuch) suggests covering the assembly pins and sockets with Blu-tak or plasticine before priming, otherwise you might not be able to assemble them with layers of paint on the pegs and in the holes. |

I'd say 2 because they are easy as long as you don't get cocky. After a bit of a hoo-hah with the Bloody Reaver, I used the instructions on the inside of the box and had no problems. Leigh |

I will never know – I'm not purchasing it or assembling any of it either. |
