After post on TMP about the electric box terrain I though I would show what could be done with a deep bitz box of broken toys and some food containers. we have a rotisserie chicken box -- deli sandwich box and a storage container and the bottom off an ATAT SW toy.

Nice. I'm collecting food containers also for some sci-fi terrain. I just need to clear the workbench to start on them. |

I've often thought about using blister and food containers like that, but have always been dissuaded by the thought of the items being schmushed (that's a technical term mind you) in a series of unfortunate incidents. Did you do anything to stiffen up the interior? Another "good idea" I've had was to use the packaging to make a mold and cast multiples, though this would require more time than I have available for the immediate future. |

I used expanding foam in a can to stiffen up the walls – have to be careful as it might pop them out a bit |

Nice paintwork on them too. |

Like the whole set up – looks great to play across. I wondered about foam but had a 'fun' experience filling canoes with my father many years ago (and I'm not allowed to forget it by my Mum) so avoid it like the plague. Anyone tried ModRoc or Paper Mache on the inside? Andrew Main site: blog.kings-sleep.me.uk |

Great job taking everyday stuff and turning it into cool scifi terrain. Thanks for the tips about the foam. |
