The larger ship models for Dreadfleet are designed to "clip" together. Gluing the parts is optional.

Will you glue your Dreadfleet ships?

* just clip them together
* glue them

Clip until they are painted, at least:
some of the ships have Invisible internal detailing!
Amazingly intricate little projects:
I plan on painting one a month, to the best standard I am able….

Based on the number of topics on the subject you have posted,
I gather DreadFleet has captured your imagination
as much as it has mine…?

I never met a naval game I didn't like. grin

In my case: paint the interiors and any other hard-to-reach places, then glue carefully to preserve the interior paint, clean up the seams and putty as necessary, touch up the interior paint as necessary, then finish the exterior painting.

I plan to treat them more as detailed plastic models than as simple gaming minis. Really looking forward to them, although they're pretty far back on my painting queue. (I think I'm up to minis I bought in 1979, so it'll be a while . . .)

Painting then gluing my Dreadfleet together. Really like the models and the cloth seascape, looking forward to getting some games going.

In the October White Dwarf GW suggested painting parts of the various ships before assembly.
Once, I have the various ship parts painted, I will use glue to assemble the ships and touch up whatever parts might need it.
