The rulebook mentions that the game can be played with miniatures, counters, or computer PBEM. How do you mostly commonly play the game? * with minis * with counters * computer PBEM * other (explain) * not a Jet Age player |

I played once at a con with minis. Once was enough. We lost more aircraft to "debris" and collisions than we did to enemy action. Some people like it. That is fine. Not my cup of tea. |

Hex mat and Minis. I normally use 1/600ths, but I have run it with 1/200ths and telescoping stands. The larger scale brings nothing to the game but eye candy (good for cons where you have a lot of space). |

1/300 Luftwaffe '46 miniatures. I've just finished matt coating them, so the 1st game isn't far away. |

I've got a bunch of Vietnam 1/300 jets, but I'm thinking 1/600 might be the way to go. All my W.W.II planes are 1/300, but the jets are almost all the size of medium/heavy bombers. I've played several games that my buddy runs with 1/600 jets and I like the scale. I also use 1 1/2" hex mats, but have recently picked up two 3" hex mats. I like those a great deal for W.W. II as there is space when planes are in the same hex. |
