Hi Folks,

We just finished putting together a folio of scenarios for the Wars of Religion. Included are Langside 1568, Moncontour 1569, Mookerheyde 1574, Coutras 1587, and Nieuport 1600. Although they are written up for our Spanish Fury system (Pistolado II), you could use them for any rules with some tinkering. They are of course free.

You'll find them here:

Enjoy,

Thumbs up! Outstanding stuff as usual and the first five of many more scenarios I'm sure.

Pikes level!

In terms of conversion to other rules, what are the numbers in parentheses in the OBs? Are these the number of stands, with pike/shot for infantry formations? Thanks.

I can see mention of the scenarios in the link provided, but where can I the scenarios themselves?

Thanks,

Ezza

Hi Chris,

What you see in parentheses are the number of companies in the regiment. Companies range from 150-250 men, so conversion should be fairly straightforward.

Ezza,

You'll find them on the page at the right-hand side below the main buttons. Click on the engraving and you'll see the PDF.

Thanks Cap'n! I couldn't see them for looking.

The scenarios look very impressive and thanks for all the hard work that must have gone into their production.

Hmmmm….I found that one PC used to look at the Perfect Captain page with the scenarios did not have the engraving link mentioned above. But when I tried on another PC it did.

Oh well, got there in the end.

Hi,

I may be a bit confused, the 14/8 number means the regiment has 14 companies of which 8 are pike?

the levy troops all seem to be 10/0 (on the one I downloaded) are they only armed with muskets?

Is there anything like this but for the TYW?
