I was looking for information on the Historicon Midway game. Finally found it. No way to remove topic now. |

Where did you find it? What year was it? |

A search of "Midway" on TMP shows a bunch of links to the game. Really nice looking Con game. Double blind with stand up plotting boards. |

PDF link The Historicon game looked just like this one. I'm assuming it is exactly the same. |

Duke, the PDF is mine, but I never ran it at Historicon.. It has been to Origins twice now.
I do believe a couple of guys on the East Coast wanted to run it, and maybe they built the wooden boards as well? I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Here is the OB we used (based on historical and available A&A models) PDF link |

The Historicon setup up looked virtually identical. I know they had a copy of FlatTop sitting around the table, but the figs were all A&A. |

Could be, I did have some questions about it a year ago? I do think some guys from NJ were planning to do it. I had a requests at Origins for the plans (they are in my head though). Also straight out purchase offers for the boards. The cheapest way to do this would be clear transparencies with hex grids. Players mark their movements and hand them to the GM. The boards create a more cooperative environment for the players and it is more "show case" for a convention. I have not been out to Historicon since 2007. The last time I was there I ran a 25mm Cog War game and introduced our Star Wars Fleet Battle PDF link |
