Anyone aware of a manufacturer of Beastmen? Ideally Goatmen.
I am aware of the Chariot ones but wonder if there are other options available.
Thanks.

Demonworld has beastmen, but they look more like boar headed beasts.

Pendraken has some that look good, but they are 10mm, so I don't know if they will work.

Irregular Miniatures ( irregularminiatures.co.uk ) has "GOAT1 – Goatman Warrior with assorted weapons" in its 15mm Fantasy Range.

There are really only the Chariot/Blood Dawn ones. I've just done a 15mm Broo army for HotT and you end up doing a lot of head swaps and hoof sculpting. I'm afraid you just have to resign yourself to it now.

The SLM beastkind that Cloud Captain linked to are large, in scale with the other Bob Olley sculpts that are more 20mm than 15mm. Of course that may be right for broo.

SL also has some fauns/goatkin in the 15mm line, and there are more coming out very soon -- I think the molds are being made now. See:

These are much smaller.

I took another route.

GW Snotlings with little horns (body putty) just sprouting and painted the appropriate colour. Based as allied Horde for my HOTT 15mm Dark Elf army.

On the army rolls as "beastlings".

Cheers,

I have a couple of packs of these available still. I am in the process of adding weapons and makeshift armor before having them recast, but it may be a few months before the new sets are available.

I forgot WeeSparky's, sorry. They'd make good broo.

Are you looking for beastmen, or broo?

Twilight Samurai28 Sep 2011 7:11 p.m. PST

Broo.
I saw some great old Citadel Broo on E-Bay the other day that made me nostalgic for my days wandering Glorantha. I'd love to do some Hott armies and or some SBH warbands.

Weesparky, I take it you have a webstore and that those handsome fellows may be available sometime in the near future

For mine I used some modified Chariot beastmen, who are nice figs but a bit too clean to be broo; the blood dawn beastman modified, reposed and the basis for several head swaps on orcs and fantasy barbarian humans. There's a helpful yahoogroup for wargaming Glorantha called GloryGeeks – but they are mostly 28mm duplo players.
