Love the paint job.

Outstanding paint job yet again – the subtle wear and tear is extremely well done. The model reminds me. Can someone lay to rest a persistent memory I have. Puma turret and 50mm fitted to the Luchs? May have been a workshop one off?

Thanks

Garry

"One of my favorite tanks of all time!"

Likewise! It's just got an appealing silhouette. It's not too big. Armour is just right for engaging infantry with infantry support of one's own and it's cannon is just big enough to engage any other recon forces it may encounter. Only thing close to it in my eyes is the Puma.

And to answer the above question, from what I know…
There were a few. They pulled the roof off the Puma turret though to make the vehicle lighter since the Puma Turret was already better armoured and heavier than most of the Panzer II itself. There are also cases it seems of Luchs Turrets fitted to spare Puma chassis. Surprised they didn't slap extra AT guns on them like they did with most extra vehicle chassis.
