This is a suggestion for later in the year… When you look back at 2011 what would you say was your best game related experience of the year?

A game? A convention? A purchase? A lucky find? Something you started or completed during the year? Or maybe it was getting dawghoused….

Well for me I have been trying to experience these years through the lense of the bicenntennial of the Napoleonic Wars, so the highlights of 2011 were our refights of the Battle of Barrosa and the Battle of Albuera in 1811…

Since this will eventually become a poll, remember to include a "category" of experience before relating the detailed story – since the poll will have categories, not everyone's specific experience.

Best game related experience? My first Black Powder battle – which while I lost was a ton of fun

Historicon, 2 straight days of gaming – usually I'm done at a couple of hours. I also got to meet Richard Clarke, THE Lardy himself.

Sad but true, reading this website each day is the closest I have been able to get to a game experience this year.

Same for me, Willtij…
