Any news on these? It has been a year since the last update. These are too cool to not get released.

Yep I like these guys, a lot. They will be very versatile for oodles of games. Hope to see them in the near future. Seems like a lot of the human hard sci-fi stuff is coming out from Khurasan at the moment.

Dementation15 Feb 2014 1:09 p.m. PST

Jon, please release these in the near future, pretty please?

khurasanminiatures15 Feb 2014 1:15 p.m. PST

I just mentioned in the thread on hooded scavengers that it's in the running to be the next range released. Depends on how much catching up on order packing I can get done this long weekend (it's a holiday weekend here in the states)--if I can catch up I'll release a new line, and this might be it!

Since 10 Sep 2011?

That's the problem with extremely early previews. People get excited over things that aren't anywhere near ready to sell yet.

The sycophants will soon come to the defense, no doubt. Or will simply hit the complaint button and have my entire comment censored.

The Little Carinthia range could use some love. Give us some serpent men!

Always willing to take commissions -- $80 USD per pose gets the models made and you get 20 castings of each pose.

By the way, I'm an equal opportunity oppressor--I violate the entitlements and civil rights of historical gamers too by previewing historical ranges and not being able to find an open slot to release them. Assyrians and Caucasus warriors, for instance, and a range of Three Kingdoms Koreans that I actually had made back during the Three Kingdoms Period!

Well anyway the good news is I'm feeling very bad that these are just sitting around and am working to get them released, probably the Cult of Andromeda next, if I can just sort all the pricing, photos and HTML work necessary, while trying to get a backlog of 50 orders packed and finding out what's the story with the resin restocks I was promised over three weeks ago ….

And the Koreans are finally getting painted for sales display!

Jon, just keep doing what you're doing. I suspect most of us especially those of us who have single handedly run a second business that depended upon outside talent and suppliers to keep up the stock levels grok what is going on for you from one moment to the next…

$80 USD a pose and 20 castings per pose, eh? Hmmmm….evil grin

Yeah, don't take anyone's flak Khurasan, the sheer speed and volume of your releases has always made me feel like you're a wizard. Keep it up.

Love those nagas btw!

Ok, pulled all the Andromeda Cult stuff out. Looks like it's:

Vilg, human renegade, Thuloid, Naga, and Iron Masker sets:
Blasters: 1 multiblaster and 4 blasters
Power halberds: 4 poses

Cultist body with plasma gun (sold singly without a head)

Andromeda on her demon skimmer

Cultist heavy cannoneer on demon skimmer with Naga and Thuloid heads

Andromeda's Sparks

Brunts:
Heavy weapons and characters
Brunt herd warriors

All cultist sets come with 6 heads and 4-5 bodies, so there will be heads left over for the plasma gunner pose or, say, the cannoneer on the demon skimmer, which comes with a naga and thuloid head but can take any of the other heads too.

A note on Andromeda's Sparks:

Andromeda has extremely powerful "witch skills" -- psionics and related powers with which she can manipulate matter. She is obsessed with change and always seeks to overturn what is established.

One of her favourite "tricks" is to convert solid matter into plasma-based life forms (or spirits) which have been termed "Andromeda's Sparks" -- these usually take the form of humanoid salamanders or lizards, which dance and run about at great speed, attacking enemies. Her preferred material used in generating her "sparks" is the bodies of enemy soldiers, living or dead (although she's not above doing it to one of her own warriors if need be). Generated in the middle of an enemy unit, they cause considerable mayhem, as can be imagined, before the plasma dissipates, which can happen in seconds or as long as 5-10 minutes.

Ok, got some work done on getting this line up on the store today. Have to stop though as days off like today are really more for order packing than HTML…. Expect them to be released sometime this week.

Out of curiosity, what was the hold up?

Was there perceived lack of demand? Technical issues? Some sort of monkey wrench in the normal works?

Wow, that sounds like a rather full and exciting range to come out all at once. I look forward to it!
