What are the army lists: I'm guessing mostly standard troop types – shooters, spears, knights, with maybe a hero or two, but have you added anything else? |

Advocate, the base lists are knights and riders(bretons) for the normans, the saxons and normans have spear and shooters. The norman generals are knights. the normans also have two heros (which could also be played as paladins). the saxon genrerals are behemoths (representing the fiercness of the kings personal body gaurd), the houscarls are heros, the saxons also have two beasts (hunting dogs) and a cleric. -Paul |

I like the horses on rock formations thing (reminds me of some of those exuberant Italian creations). I tried it with my Arthurians but by the time I'd finished it was nowhere near as striking as I thought it would be. Phil soawargamesteam.blogspot.com |

I like the use of behemoths – good idea (and if pushed back will eliminate anyone behind them: La Garde recule!). You could also add a cleric to the Normans, of course – the Bishop of Bayeux was as clerical – and as militant – as some Anglo-Saxon bishops :o) |
