Actually one of the few deficiencies in 15mm is a general lack of 'latex space suits,' or, at least, any sort a sleeker looking SF
. recently here some modellers have posted greens that could start moving in this direction (there was some android female warrior, kinda Infinity like, in 15mm, and one of the civies posted recently was also wearing a form fitting jumpsuit). Personally I think they form a nice contrast to bulkier power armors and practical BDUs- real life fashion is arguably going in the much more formfitting direction, anyway. So
. get to it! |

Actually, there's a lot of thought now that skintight suits (or, more formally, "mechanical counterpressure" suits) are more practical than the bulky ones we use currently. So I think it's perfectly reasonable to have characters like that. Rebel Mini's infiltrators are a good example. Now, in warfare I don't doubt that you'll see armor or coveralls designed to be worn over the suit. So not every suit will look like that. But 60 years after the hay day of the skin-tight space vixen, we finally have a good excuse to put our chicks (and chicos, to be fair) in more revealing spacegarb. The keyhole in the front will never be practical, of course. ;) |

The keyhole in the front will never be practical, of course. That isn't a keyhole. That is a biometric interface port. Need direct skin contact for accurate readings you know. |

That was one horrible movie and I usually like campy stuff like that. |

Oh, don't you know bsrlee? Hot pulp women's boobs are not only gravity resistant, they are also proof against the void of space. She could actually strip down ever further if she wanted to and still be fully functional and combat effective! |

Great movie, have it on DVD. |

Just watched the DVD, it is quite fun and nicely done! The only big wait-a-minute plot device was why did they have so much weaponry, including net-guns, on the space station if this is the first encounter with any alien life form? I'm guessing space-madness and mutinies are a common problem on Gamma 3. And it was lucky they had all the riot control gear in the locker when the Green Slime monsters came on board. |

We need a 28mm version Dee Dee is close: link I'd like to see Werner Klocke sculpt a line of latex-clad spacewomen. |

So then this is the prelude to the Japanese anime genre with the young girls and tentacle monsters

I sure hope so
.. Been asking for similar for awhile, to no avail. The closest ones are the Black Widow Mercs (the ones sans the coats), and the Infiltrators, done by Rebel Minis. GZG's Light Vacc Suit women are close too, but not quite as voluptuous as the image above. Would love to see some Infiltrators with bare heads, and some like the above, or these:

I would take infiltrators with anything more than a pistol

Mako11 | 05 Sep 2011 12:38 p.m. PST |
Yes, some infiltrators with blaster rifles or slub throwers would be good too. |

Forgot about those Valkeeris. They are quite nice. Would like to know what their "teaser" fig is of, since that's been showing for some time now (a bit more than just a few days). |
Whatisitgood4atwork | 05 Sep 2011 9:48 p.m. PST |
The teaser fig is one of the Valkeeri. The teaser was posted before the actual figures and not taken down when the figure pics were unveiled. The other teaser is for their new ships, also subsequently posted. I am just deciding on a colour scheme for the Valkeer. Definitely a silver jump suit, but not sure about boots, helmet, and gloves. Or skin colour. |

Never. THe intelligence needed to survive in space precludes any thought of working outside with a sealed suit. It also precludes working with juvenile males whom would be too likely to conduct practical jokes such as trying to pinch holes in the rear of space suits and unable to keep their mind on the job at hand. |
