As you know I am a BIG (in both senses of the word) SciFi and Fantasy fan so normally do not turn up the 'The Other Partizan' show as it seems to be mainstream games more than my interest but a need for some mag bases and an invite from a friend I found myself there today.

I ended up having a really good show helped along by a few demo gamers spending time talking rather than playing, a few traders with bits I needed and a pre-release to end all:

So I've blogged it (bit long but not much waffle – more pictures) at link

Surprised you did not mention the waterline Nautilus, I do not know if it was new but it was jolly spiffing.

I quite liked it, and thought that the show was quite busy, feeling that the people were buying, but perhaps not as much as 3 or 4 years ago. Hopefully this means the industry has turned a corner.

@Maddz111 – I did see the ship but the problem I had with it was the lack of scale – I had assumed it was for 40mm that being the main thrust of HLBSC but since found out is was 28mm.

Nice boat but not for me – I am a bit selfish on show reviews I put down what interests me as I wonder around suffering 'oh shiny' as I am a bit of a butterfly grin

Nowt wrong with that.

@AB

And look where it got me at the last show – 6mm skirmish I must be mad!

Got the bases today for the figures so out comes the undercoat this week!

Nice pics on the blog, good work fella! That Roman/Celt bash looked very impressive.

Anyone know of piccies d'Web of this beast? I'm not seeing it at Ironclad Miniatures, if that's who had it.

@TheBeast

No pics but it is the classic fin shape with the line / net cutter going over the top and a waterline model.

The link to the shop (no pictures) is link – they offer a picture set on request going by the blurb.

Sorry no more info – was not that bothered as it does not fit anything I am currently spending my money on.
