I use gummy bears for zombies and whoever kills it gets to eat it.

For games where it matters, I was considering card/paper cut-outs of casualties in lieu of actual miniature casualties. The latter are not often available or practicable to collect and paint in quantity.

Those interested in reading the bat rep that goes with those photos can visit Zombie Ad's blog here: link

Keep track on paper? Unless, is it relevent to the game system to keep track of kills on board?

Pijlie03 Sep 2011 3:15 a.m. PST

I use blood splatters printed on transparant plasticard.

It has no real game function actually, but I found out that players LOVE that trail of blood splatters a cross the table….

Manflesh03 Sep 2011 4:59 a.m. PST

Loving the bloodsplatter idea!!

If you "kill" a zombie, shouldn't he/she/it be marked with a living human being? Inquiring minds want to know.

I totally think the blood splatters make the game table.

Blood splatters – quite literally, the way to go.

A very good idea.

Captain dEwell03 Sep 2011 6:44 a.m. PST

Very good.

You could do different shapes and/or colours if you wanted to track each player's dead zed count.

We currently just pull zombie casualties to recycle them in the game. I intend to use counters or something else in the future though. I like the ideas shown.

Angel Barracks04 Sep 2011 11:31 a.m. PST

Liking splatters too.

Awesome idea! Great, now I have another project I am now officially slacking on. Eventually, my table will be covered in cool looking blood splatters…

NOLA Chris06 Sep 2011 12:26 p.m. PST

Blood splaters!
Much easier than all the HO train gravestones I painted up and put on washers…
I'll still use them for WW2, but am
going with this idea for Z…
or maybe chalk body outlines on transparent plastic? :)

Chris

Chalk body outlines on transparent plastic is another exceptional idea. However, I regard them more to do with a crime scene. Are Zombie deaths regarded as crime scenes or as just another one who bites the dust?
