I have committed to the project. I already have the Litko Space Corridor System + Expansion set, 40x Painted Khurasan Space Demons and now have ordered the Khurasan Colonial Marines and the Litko "Space Hulk" Blip, Overwatch and 3D Flame tokens! "GAME OVER, MAN! GAME OVER!!!" |

Mike, your exterminators will ship tomorrow! All packed up and ready to go. (As are many others, spent the weekend a) fretting about the hurricane and b) catching up on the orders I could not pack whilst out of the country for a week.) Actually the great thing about using the hulk rules for Aliens is that, despite the mega-super armour the terminators are in, the bugs still wipe the floor with them in close combat. So it still works, and in fact many of the weapons types in SH can be rationalized into the Aliens universe). |

Tee Hee! <School-girl Giggle ON> I am at id Software now and we have a buch of "Aliens" fans here at the office and we are going to Space Hulk up in the afternoons! Once the APCs come out we will be using them for objective games (To mark escape points in some missions) and in addition I want to run some Tomorrow's War/Space hulk games where the Marines go into the Colony complex and once they enter the complex it plays using Space Hulk, but outside it uses Tomorrow's War. |

Aliens in corridors is great fun. I have been meaning to boost my aliens numbers with some of the Space Demons from Khurasan. Here is a game we played on the Ainsty terrain. Gruntz rules have a random activation card option which makes corridor play fun but anything goes in the corridors – I did originally play with Two Hour Wargames and then Savage Worlds Showdown (when I made the layout in 2005 I think). The federal troops ended up backing the APC into the base as an exit point during this game and it nothing to do with trying to re-live the film honest. :)

That truly is one magnificent looking space station board, I would die to own a sci-fi corridor system such as this but it saddens me to say its way beyond my budget. But there may still be hope with khurasan miniatures new corridor system, I'm just waiting for more information about the product IE how many parts they plan to release and some form of a price list. |

@AvaMango. You can start cheap with the Ainsty downbelow terrain. All the floor plates from the entire Ainsty range are compatible with the Downbelow walls range. Every single tile is 3cm x 3cm and they offer larger tiles of the same scale, so you can easily fill a 30x30cm tile cheaply (using large base plates). I know the designer of them (another Robin) and he designed them specifically for 15mm. It is hard to get your hands into some of the 28mm corridor terrain when using 15mm because the height of the walls makes the little 15mm chaps disappear and makes the game more of a "Where are my troops". The Ainsty terrain in the Down Below range has the lower walls designed for 15mm and much easier to put together. The photos above are just part of my complete set which was a demo game a few years ago. I wrote an article on it here: link |

I've been looking at Creative Game Scapes 3d corridor system for some Aliens/Space Hulk play link Though I have to say after seeing the Ainsty Down Below pieces, I'll be seriously comparing the two options. |

I must admit a preference for the much nicer etched version, but it's nice that they added larger rooms to the mix. I assume the new stuff is probably compatible with the 1.0 version. |

Those laser cut sections are great and playing without walls is actually easier. |
