Obverse: Wreathed head of Tanit left
Reverse: Crested helmet with cheek guards left
Size: 13.15 mm
Location:Carthagonova/Carthaginian coinage

I seem to remember seeing one in a book on Carthage, but it was much more worn than this. Really good stuff!

I apologize for the stupidity of my question. I read "Carthiginian" as "Corinthian" as in a corinthian helmet.

Well, it DOES sort of look like one of those Italo-corinthian monstrosities.
