Thank you. I mainly game in 6mm so the GMB flags wouldn't be suitable, but I did get a decent look at what they were supposed to look like. Regards |

Was there a difference between the fanions of Napoleon I and those of Napoleon III? I want to game 1859 en 1870 so was wondering. |

For 1815, see link Earlier, ther designs were less prescribed. You can find a link to the 2nd's in 1812 here TMP link and alternatives here link Ignore the 5th bn's – they were the training cadre IIRC. There are also some Young Guard fanions on Warflag. drapeaux.org/Accueil.htm has 2nd Empire fanions – these seem to be battalion ones on a pole rather than the little ones stuck down a barrel, but I'm not sure.
