We played our first game of Aeronef this week. These pics are the two fleets prior to battle.

Russians

Italians

Finally an overview of the battlefield

We had a lot of fun playing this,I can't wait for the next game. Strange I can't remember who won this game.

Beautiful ships! And I really like the airplanes. What exactly is the terrain you are using? Does it come in other sizes or is it something you made?

Karellian Knight26 Aug 2011 9:45 a.m. PST

Thank you, the terrain is made from Heroscape tiles,it was a game made by Hasbro, all I've done is flock the raised hexes, the hexes are 40mm from flat to flat. Unfortunately now longer made, but available from various sources.

Excellent – love the scratch built flat top with 'plane in situ!

I was starting to think I was the only fellow who uses the Heroscape tiles for terrain. Look much better flocked than my plain ones. Also, very nice nefs and digs.

Pretty snazzy. Really must get some Heroscape tiles on the secobdary market before they start getting expensive – so useful.

I use them for Battletech with my boys. Flocked looks great. Need to do that…
