Yessirree, boys and girls. I will be running my Wyoming Massacre™ game this Saturday, using vanilla TSATF. Butler's, Jonsons's and the mythical platoon form the 24th Connecticut* will be rated as Egyptians with carbines. The few hunting shirt bhoys will get rifle range. Settlers will be rated as Boers with carbine range. Cayuga will be Dervish, Seneca will be Pathans. Just because. I have my own tables with bow ranges. I did not really like The Sword in the Forest, for those who are wondering why I don't use those mods. Idunno why. I just don't. I prefer vanilla, right out of the box TSATF. The game will start at the moment when the settlers realize they are outflanked. "BETRAYED!" I like it when lines disintegrate. Well, only when I am the GM. The object of the game is to get from the Little League field behind St. Cecelia's church in Exeter to the Forty Fort Municipal Building. Alive. Being carried by your neighbors does not count. Just remember. You do not have to be the fastest settler to survive. Just the second slowest. *Tes, Connecticut. The Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania was disputed by the Yankees from Connecticut, and the Pennamites from
Pennsylvania. There were actually two wars fought between CT and PA. Supposedly there was a Pennsylvnia Continental regiment encamped at Nescopeck, a bare 20 miles away while the Massacre occurred. The Loyalists took care of ousting the settlers, so the PA troops did not need to. |

John; How many units does that equate out to for the different sides? I use a modified version of TSATF for my AWI and FIW figures with 10 figures per unit, instead of 20. Eric |

I used units of 20. Loyalkists: Two units of Seneca, with 10 musket, 5 bow, 5 melee only, getting a +1 in hth. Morale as Zuluz. Two of Cayuga, as above. Two of Butler's Rangers, each with 15 musket, 5 with rifle. Morale as Egyptians. Two of Johnson's Greens, musket. Otherwise as Egyptians. Muskets have carbine range, bows 12". Versus the Settlers. 6 units with muskets, as Boers. 1 unit of 16 Continentals. As Johnson's. |
