Not something *I* would have thought of…

High wind and an empty trailer, maybe?

That'll teach him to be popping wheelies on the freeway!

Having seen a loaded trailer (behind a Suburban) pop off its hitch and end up wheels in the air, all because of a bumpy dirt road, I'll believe that trailers can do quite a bit at speed.

Just think of the police officer who responded to this and having to listen to the truck driver.

Because that story just has to be a classic.

WTH???
I cannot see how that happened.
Weird.
I am going with a failed UFO abduction of the trailer.

I would think that internal load shifted after the initial break and/or was loaded incorrectly and the weight went to far over the rear axles…and pop goes the weasel.

It closed the freeway down about 14 hours,

It was some type of dumping trailer and the driver
hit the butten while going down the freeway.

That's what they said on the news,
here in Houston.

And I though that I had seen every possible accident that you could accomplish with an 18-wheeler…

Wow…

Really glad no-one was hurt when that happened!

You fools! It's Optimus Prime having a seizure of course!
