Hi guys, does anyone have this set? any comparison pics of the peices with 15mm figs? how good would the figs be for use as 15mm walkers/robots etc, pretty cheap at $40 USD for 16 mechs.

No but if you buy them your gonna have fun cutting them off of those fancy plinths. personally i think you would be better off trying to find some old Rafm Mekton Road warrior mechs and saveing yourself from sore fingers and money.

We got this set for my eldest a couple Christmases ago. I will see if I can dig them out and post measurements.

I had the same idea as you at the time, but play no games with mechs so I didn't have any immediate use, and I wasn't about to attempt razor sawing off the base of my then-7-year-old's new Christmas gift.

Measuring from base to the top of the head, ignoring antennae, weapons, pointy bits and other things that stick up taller, the kings are 75mm, the queens 65mm, and the pawns 34mm. (I didn't measure the other pieces but that gives you the range.)

The plinths are 25mm (added to the above heights if that wasn't clear). The material flexes and is slightly tacky, it smells like vinyl. The top lips of the plinths are about 4mm, that's probably where you'd try to razor saw it to make thinner bases.

Hope that helps.
