Hello everyone,

I am a new member but have been lurking for over a year and this is my first post as I finally have something to contribute.

I have recently gotten back into Napoleonics, for some gaming but mostly as I like to build dioramas. I have been purchasing a number of metal and plastic figures and given some time constraints (not to mention the number one has to paint!) I sent some off to Neil's "Reinforcements By Post" company for painting.

My favourite part of the hobby is making the figures come to life by shading and highlighting. As such, I sent of 90 Napoleonic British to Reinforcements By Post. What I wanted was for just the basic colours to be blocked in, no shading or highlighting (that is what I like to do!). I provided a painted sample and references I used (Men at Arms).

The figures arrived back this past week and they copied my sample (style and colour) and I would say 95%. The block painting was neat and clean, just the perfect base for my finishing touches.

In sum, a great painting service and I am working on getting my next batch to them.

Some vital statistics (90 figures):

1. Total wait time from Canada to Bangledesh – painting – 45 days

2. All figures were well packed and no damage upon return

3. Worked out a special price for just block painted figures with Neil

4. When figures were being painted Neil sent pictures to see how they were doing

5. Quick e-mail replies, very reliable

Cheers,

Sounds great! They seem like a pro establishment for pro-painting.
