Heard this through the grapevine, and have checked this out. According to their web site, they are still in Mass. On Facebook they are HK, LLC. Complete change of continent without ever notifying shareholds. Shenanigans? For the record, I know some of the old WF management. |

Shareholders? Last time I checked they were the Yank equivalent of a Limited Liability Partnership. There are no Shareholders, only Partners, who I understood were all painfully aware of the reason for the change. No shenanigans by the new Management. Pat |

We are now Wargames Factory HK, Ltd. (not LLC). Sane Max is correct, there are no share holders. Share holders would imply that we are a public company; we are not. And yes, we are located out of Logan, UT, not MA with our manufacturing facility in China (where it's always been). We are aware that the website needs a major overhaul to address these issues but our web guy is also one of our three sculptors and we are keeping him busy trying to bring 2 to 4-releases per month out to the market place. Everyone at WF is wearing multiple hats these days and our primary concern is expanding our current ranges with higher quality plastic soldiers at a very accelerated rate while maintaining our price structure. The web takes a bit of a back seat to product. For the record, there are 5 of us employees (not partners, not share holders, just employees) plus our shipping staff working to bring miniatures to the market. We'll get around to updating the website eventually. August's releases, for anyone interested, should be WSS Cavalry (12 in a box for $19.95), Hoplites (30 in a box for $19.95) and Shock Trooper Heavy Weapon Teams (3-Teams, heavy weapons and 2-officers in a box for $19.95). September should see the beginnings of our Apocalypse range with WWII and Samurai to follow – all in 28mm plastic. Many thanks to all of our supporters. Lonnie Mullins

This is certainly a surprise although not surprising given what's gone on before from these people. A surprise though since Wai Kee Hui only controls 41% of the Massachusetts LLC and as far as I know none of the other shareholders (the majority ownership) approved of or were even informed of this. And the LLC was dissolved in April with the new HK operation opened in May. My guess is this is an attempt for WF to try to get out of any debts they owed while George Sivy and Wai Kee were in control (since last July 2010) and also to steal Tim Barry's copyrights (which include the new Shock Troop Heavy Weapons and Greeks that they mention above). WF actually has no rights to sell anything that was sculpted by Tim Barry (or used his sculpts as a foundation). They pretended to negotiate with Tim to give him a % of sales going forward, but it was all just a ploy to take back the SensAble Haptic Freeform device he used. Once they had it in their lawyer's hands, communication with Tim ceased. Talk about recasts!!!!! This should be a warning for anyone doing business with the "new" Wargames Factory. I'm still very proud of what we built at WF before it was turned into a joke – and the original team is hard at work preparing our new endeavor – Defiance Games. All the best,

This could be the warm-up bout for the long awaited Kevin Kiley/Dave Hollins grudge match. Certainly be more entertaining than the car crashes maquerading as 'debates' going on in Napoleonics as usual. |
